To all prospective employers of executive assistants. Please note for
all of the cornballs looking for an executive assistant with college
degrees, that a college graduate's last ambition is to become an
executive assistant, that someone with experience working with and
dealing with high level executives without perhaps a college degree is
most suitable, that unless a company plans on promoting an individual in
an executive assistant capacity to a higher position, they should not
seek out an executive assistant with a college degree. Any person who is
a college graduate with a BS, BA or the like is not interested in being
an assistant to someone, whose position they probably want in the first
place. How dare anyone seeking an executive assistant be so
discriminative. There are so many people out of work who are super
qualified beyond a degree in an executive assistant capacity. College
degrees are nice to have and are necessary in this day and age, but it
does not prepare someone for the dog eat dog world of corporate America,
only a seasoned individual is knowledgeable to how all you morons think.
AND to all recruiters, who work on commission, don't waste someone's
time by having someone come in so you can literally just 'SEE' them to
see if they are attractive to send out on a job. All of you birdbrains
are not skilled enough to brave the throws of the corporate beast, how
dare you pass judgment on an individual who is looking for your
assistance in a time of need. All you who may laugh at this (EMPLOYERS
AND RECRUITERS), do not be so quick to judge, you may be pounding the
pavement soon enough. Incidentally, I have a job, but I cannot get over
how people who are unemployed are treated.
